2024 United way of central alabama - Tuesday, December 19th, 2023. Late this summer, United Way of Central Alabama celebrated its 100th anniversary with a huge celebration at City Walk BHAM. There was music, food, a kids zone, a sports garden and more. The centennial event was sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama and other businesses, and it had a huge turnout.
